Dear Plano ISD Board of Trustees and Dr. Otto,
I am writing to express my concerns about the Board of Trustee's current interest in reevaluating the PISD boundary decisions that were finalized in December, 2009. I am OPPOSED to readdressing boundary and feeder alignment decisions before the 2009 decision is even implemented and am OPPOSED to the current plan of creating a new senior high school by converting an existing high school (Jasper or Clark). This view point is based upon the following factors:
- That the PISD administration does, and will continue to do, an excellent job of educating all students regardless of campus or graduating class size.
- That the PISD administration will continue to provide all of the necessary facilities and staffing to provide an excellent education to all students at every campus.
- Boundary issues consume an enormous amount of time, energy and resources from the PISD administration and the entire Plano community. Instead of focusing on boundary issues, the community prefers to spend its efforts supporting the Board on the many issues facing PISD including:
- school finance challenges,
- instructional programs that help to close achievement gaps,
- assist in developing new ways to support teachers and staff facing the need to do more with less,
- creating a first rate Academy model, and
- continuing the strategic plan that has kept Plano at the cutting edge of education in Texas and will continue to keep us at the forefront of the Nation in the 21st century.

Thank you for your dedicated service towards the betterment of Plano ISD and the educational opportunities it provides to all of the students in our community. We trust that all of you will make decisions that will be in the best interest of ALL 55,000 students within ALL our schools.
Sincerely,
